Glucose Test & Insulin

My glucose and insulin test taken on 30th Oct was very painful. They took my blood 4 times in 2 hours!! Dah la kena puasa pagi tu. Cannot eat nor drink. Sgt la tidak best. Dua2 lengan lebam lepas kena amik darah.

This was after my first blood test. Tak lebam lg.

The result? Hmmm, doc kata my glucose level is normal but when looking at my insulin graph dia kata my pancrease is working too hard to stabilized my sugar level. Terkejut jugak tgk graph insulin yg sgt la tinggi. Doc ckp org mengandung slalu nye double dr org biasa but for me. Its like 4 times more than normal ppl. Doc advice to take the same test again after delivery. A year after ke sbb only then baru tau my actual condition. So this time around, I DO NOT have diabetic. Lega rasa.

Doc explain, kat Jepun jadik strict camni since last year sbb ramai doctor diabetic complain gynae tak jaga patience yg ada diabetic mase time pregnant. Sbb org pregnant yg ada diabetic ada kemungkinan kena diabetic bile tua nnt. So ppl like me kena di bg tau awal2 supaya berjaga2 di masa hadapan supaya jaga makan kalau xmau kena kencing manis.

Doc juga ada ckp check glucose sahaja tak berguna sbb it doesnt show any corelation. So thats why dia check insulin jugak. So that ppl like me that have normal sugar level cannot be that relief after all. Meaning kena jaga2 la.

Elok jugak pegi amik test ni. So now, dr muda lg bleh berjaga2 utk hari tua nnt. My pancrease needs a lot of rest sbb kuarkan insulin yg byk time pregnant. Takut nnt bile dah tua insulin habis susah plak. I really like this kinda of doctor yg citer details dan gune bahasa yg senang utk difahami.
