It is definitely getting warmer n warmer everyday. So we decided to take out the camera n go shooting b4 going to the lab. So like a tourist, off we go to APU :D

** Mayonnaise. He cant live without his mayonnaise. Bukan setakat salad. Atas sume benda kalu buleh nak taruk mayonnaise.

Ape Harris Buat Lepas Nursery

Dulu lepas blk dr Mesia dan start pegi nursery blk lepas 3 bulan duduk kat rumah dgn kami di Mesia. Harris slalu nangis sbb tak paham bahasa, tak biasa ngan sensei dan mcm2 alasan yg lain. Mase mula2 dulu kol 4:30 dah start nangis sbb rindu. Tp skrg dtg amik kol 5:30 pun xpe sbb asyik bermain dgn sensei dan kawan2. Kekadang tu menangis2 tak nak blk sbb nak main lg. Mana tak nye nursey Harris ni byk sgt benda nak main.

Ada mainan pusing2 ni.

Ada gelongsor gajah nih.

Ada benda2 tu.

Ada mainan kereta tolak2 ni.

Boleh naik Anpanman
(Anpanman tu cartoon carractor kegemaran ramai)

Tiap ari mesti bg mkn kat arnab.
Ayam pun ada gak dlm kandang tu.

Ikan carb yg Harris panggil "fish" pun ada.


Selalu kena paksa msk dlm keter nak blk rumah.
Nnt lambat plak nak mkn mlm.

Then lepas dah puas main dan dah puas mkn.

I Have a Friend...

I have a friend....

She is actually my English student. Bile tulis student mcm budak la plak bunyi nye but actually she is older than me. About 3, 4 years older.

This happen a few months ago, right after she gave birth to her son. Me, hubby n Harris went to visit her at the hospital. Hubby kat luar layan kebuasan Harris tu. Harris ni mana bleh dok diam dlm bilik lama2.

Then baru la kuar girls talk pasal bersalin. She said it was so painful coz the doc had to cut her so that she can deliver the baby on a holiday and her hubby is already there. Doc kata xpayah la hubby dia dtg Beppu lg. My student ni balik kg dia kat Beppu ni utk bersalin. Laki dia keje dekat ngan bandar Fukuoka. Jauh dr kg tempat dia nak bersalin ni.(Jauh pun just 2 hours driving je) So kesimpulanye everything was sooo painful la sbb badan tak prepare utk bersalin lg.

Mase citer2 tu la, I asked her, laki dia ada tak dlm labor room. Dia kata ada tp bile dah sampai satu tahap yg dia dah tak boleh remain clam. Dia suruh laki dia kuar dr bilik. Sgt la pelik. Then I asked why? She said she can't remain normal anymore. Dlm hati I said, tak kan lah minah ni malu kot sbb nak bersalin. But it seem true la. Many Japanese women do not want their hubby to watch them give birth sebab malu menjerit kuat sgt. I mean nak malu ape? Benda camtu kan normal. Sape yg tak menjerit atau meneran mase bersalin? Sometimes I just can't understand them la.....

Well, this is Harris when I gave birth to him.

Harris 1st Bento

Dear Blog,

Arini Harris ada "ensoku", excursion in English. Bunyi cam glamor je dak? Actually, derang just pegi park dekat ngan nursery je dlm 5 min walking org dewasa . Dulu mase xbuleh jalan, sensei bawak naik stroller. Skrg sbb dah bleh jln, budak2 group Harris pergi jalan kaki sambil pegang tali dan sebut "pip, pip".

Di sebabkan ensoku ni, nursery tak buat lunch utk sume org. Sume org kena bawak bento (bekal) sendiri. So pagi tadi bertungkus lumus la buat bekal utk hero sorang tu. Takde susah sgt pun. Just buat onigiri (nasi kepal), ikan salmon bakar, telur goreng, sayur bayam + carrot dan kacang merang manis. Kacang ni beli dr kedai. Bubuh sume dlm bekas dan jadi la cam gambar kat bawah tu. Nasi tu I buat bento bintang dan bear. Tp angle tak kena plak. Mase amik gambar camera dah abeh battery... :(


For a first time buat bento oklah jugak dan tak la mkn mase pun. Just about 30 min je buat sume ni. Nasib baik Jepun ni byk gadget. Lepas dah buat bekal ni. Satu je bimbang. Takut mknan tak cukup je. Sbb mlm td Harris ratah ikan nak dekat seekor, nasi pun byk gak mkn semlm. Mintak2 la cukup.

Looking forward to pick him up this evening and hear what the teacher had to say about him today.

Ubat

Baru-baru ni Harris sakit. Sejak blk dr Mesia 2 bln lepas kami anak beranak asyik dok sakit je memanjang. Lepas sorang-sorang sakit... Ni skrg mama Harris plak sakit.

Mase sakit aritu, Harris batuk kuat sgt. Mase tu dah gi clinic dah dan dpt ubat selsema yg biasa mcm gambar kat bawah ni.

(Kat Jepun, ubat dlm bentuk serbuk. Kena bancuh ngan air sket dlm sudu kat atas tu)

Doc slalu bagi ubat max utk 3, 4 hari je dan jarang sekali dpt antibiotic. Bile ubat dah abeh tp batuk Harris teruk sgt mase tgh tido mlm, kami pun gi la clinic lagi. Since medical utk baby free kat sini, sket2 terus gi clinic. Citer kat doc yg Harris xleh tido mlm sbb batuk dan ada bunyi kahak mase tido. Doc terus bg ubat sticker yg kat bawah ni.

Sticker ni utk luaskan ronga pernafasan dan melegakan pernafasan. Mesti lekat kat area dada depan atau belakang mcm gambar kat bawah tu. Lepas pakai je sticker ni kat dada. Malam tu terus tido lena dan tak dengar bunyi ape pun.

Sebenarnye ni dah kali kedua Harris dpt sticker ni. First time dpt mase dia batuk kuat b4 blk Mesia thn lepas. Sticker ni sebenarnye byk digunakan utk org yg ada asthmatic. Kat sini xde asma pun bleh pakai. But not so sure ada kat Mesia ke tak. Ada pernah nampak org gune tak kat Mesia?

Harris First Trip to Umitamago Aquarium

It was Harris 1st trip to Umitamago aquarium near our house. Around 10 mins by car. We got special birthday price. Hubby yg nak pegi sgt coz we can claim our special price up to 7 days after the date of birthday. Hubby birthday was on the 1st of March so we only paid 2000 yen for 2 adults and saved 2000yen but used it for lunch instead hehehe my my my there goes our money. We saved somewhere and use it elsewhere. End up no more money. Ai yai yai...

Unlucky after we bought our tickets, the counter girl told us that the dolphin pool is under construction so there is no dolphin show that day. But, luckily at the moment we arrived around 10:40 there was the walrus show. Harris was such as good boy waiting for 5 min before the show start. The nursery trained him good I guess. He really concentrate watching the walrus and really excited watching the show. Every now and then, he says something that I just can't understand but try to reply back as best as I can. After the show end, we went and touch the walrus. Harris made his first touch but when the second walrus came near him, he was too afraid and won't touch again. Tetiba jadi kecut. Afraid lor that walrus weight 2 tons oor.

There were lots of fishes. Of course la kan, dah nama aquarium. There this fish. Don't ask me the name. I simply can't remember.

These are fishes too but look more like seaweeds.

This is the dolphin tank from below since the upper level is under construction. So peaceful looking at these dolphins.

What I did last Friday...

Dear blog,

Last Friday, I went to the tax office for the 1st time. I am a student so I supposedly would not have anything to do with the tax office. Ever since I lived in Japan 14 years ago, I never pay tax other the than consumer tax la kan. I only received scholarship derived from tax payer money. Thank MEXT for the every month installment ;P

Actually, I went there to refund tax in Japanese it is called "kakuteishinkoku" for my dear adik that used to work in Osaka for 5 years and decided she need to go to Turkey to be nearer with her bf and change her profession from an officer and becoming a elementary school teacher. She is happy with her life so I just let it be and support her every now and then.

Ok, back to tax refund. Even though, adik n kak Hanny said that the office people will do everything but still looking at all those unfamiliar kanji on the application form just make me confused. I just dont understand them that good coz I just never use them before. So what I did was to be as blur as possible. As if I can't speaks Japanese and asked hubby to play along. And the play, worked! I didn't bring my inkan (stamp with my name on it) and they just made a conclusion that foreigners don't have inkan. If not, I have to go home n take my inkan. It was my 2nd trip to the office n I surely do not want to have a 3rd trip.

Adik tax refund is about 18,000 yen and to be spend on Harris on his trip to Turkey this summer. Kalau jadik la. At least, after all this complicated procedure I get to go shopping for Harris. That's seem fair enough :D

I spent about an hour at the tax office and then I made a move to my hairdresser. I needed a hair cut and decided to cut, color, perm and do treatment to my hair. How much does it cost? Itu rahsia kerajaan negera Jepun hehehe I was there for about 4 1/2 hours.

After 27 years of straight hair, I finally say bye bye. I loved my new look and I am wondering why I never did this before....

Spring is in the air

A few days ago the weather news announced this year sakura will bloom in Oita on 20th of March. Yeah! another 2 more weeks to go to. I luv sakura time and the hanami (sakura watching). Last year we were in Malaysia coz mase tu dah 2 thn tak blk n it was Harris 1st time going home.


The picture above is not sakura. It is ume (plum). Blooming around my uni. Ume bloom before sakura around February. The pic below is my uni by the way. It is located on top of a mountain. Simply tempat yg paling sejuk kat Beppu.

I am starting book keeping again for my household after a short 3 months break. (Maklumlah blk Mesia 3 bln dan joli katak tak hingat dunia)
By doing this, I can simply know how much I spent and how much I earn
I bought this book with a software that can help me more with my book keeping.

Simply loving it :)

One Optimistic Person

Dear blog,

I have many friends from many countries but there is this pak arab that I really like to talk to and hear from.

This is taken place at Beppu mosque after Jumaat prayer.

Friend : Assalamuaikum Hezil! (dlm lorat arab)

Hubby : Waalaikumsalam friend.

Friend : How is your son Harris? (the pronunciation is Haaris, H tu pekat sket cam org arab) (He always ask about our son when we met maybe because anak dia cam beza 2 minggu dgn Harris kot.)

Hubby : He is fine and just recover from flu but recently he likes to be carried & cuddle all the time and cries a lot when he didn't get what he wants.

Friend : Hezil, you must enjoy this moment my friend because after sometimes he will not what you to carry him like now and cry if he didn't get what he wants. And someday my friend, you will miss this kind of moment and hoping that moment will come again.

Hubby : Thank you my friend! I am glad that I met you today and I am glad I talked to you today. You are such a positive person.

Friend : (Tersenyum simpul) <-- dont know how to say that in English

So after this conversation with this pak arab. Both of us feel very relief in a way that it is difficult to express and when Harris made his usual breakdown we are less stressful then we were used to. And guess what, the more positive we are with Harris, the less the breakdown.

Thank you my friend you made us a better person.

March 1st

1st of March was my dear hubby 30th birthday. We didn't really celebrate it this time. We just went to a reasonable France restaurant by the sea the next day. Cant really go to a nice restaurant with Harris around lately.
We always go there because of so many reasons. The price, the view, the place and not to forget the foods. Sgt yummy yummy :-) Sape rase nak pegi, mmg recommendable la tempat ni. Too bad didnt bring our camera but you guys can go to the link above.
Other than that, I bought him a very nice key case from LV. I usually buy present that I really want for myself. That is my key when buying presents for people. Hoping that I will get what I want in the future. So far xpernah dpt lagi pun hehehe
