Answering the survey make me remember back that wonderful and painful day.
So here it is...
1. WAS YOUR FIRST PREGNANCY PLANNED?- Yup. I was taking my MBA. Waited for 2 years b4 we start trying n of course it was that Europe trip we wanted badly. After that trip, off we go ;P
2. WHAT WAS YOUR SECOND CHOICE NAME OR YOUR OPPOSITE GENDER NAME? - Adam Yuuki
3. WHAT WERE YOUR REACTIONS? - Excited and nervous
4. HOW OLD WERE YOU? - 27
5. HOW DID YOU FIND OUT YOU WERE PREGNANT? - I was late and went to buy the pregnancy test n tara! pink line came out in a second.
6. WHO DID YOU TELL FIRST? - Hubby la of course. Then he called the family back home about the good news.
7. DID YOU WANT TO FIND OUT THE SEX? - Yes. I wanted a girl n hubby wanted a boy. But the doc cant confirm the gender until I was about 8 or 9 months pregnant. Its the Japanese style. He need to be very sure b4 letting us know.
8. DUE DATE? - June 13 or 14 2007
9. DID YOU HAVE MORNING SICKNESS? - Yes but not always in the morning. It can be in the evening. I ate lots of assam to get rid of the feeling.
10. WHAT DID YOU CRAVE? - Everything!! Specially the msian food like kerabu mangga,maggis, mangga kerepek pedas, A&W rootbeer, A&W Coney dog etc. Plus I didnt get any of them.
11. WHO/WHAT IRRITATED YOU THE MOST? - The smell of any tumisan. At a point I didnt do any tumis menumis when I cook. There was this time when I cooked buri no teriyaki. The smell had sent me to go vomit.
12. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CHILD'S SEX? - Boy
13. DID YOU WISH YOU HAD THE OPPOSITE SEX ? - Nope. He was beautiful. Sex doesnt really matter at the end.
14. HOW MANY POUNDS DID YOU GAIN THROUGHOUT THE PREGNANCY? - around 8 kg. In Japan, they advice all mom to gain only 10kg during pregnancy. (A kg for every month)
15. DID YOU HAVE A BABY SHOWER? - Nop. Didnt really know how.
16. WAS IT A SURPRISE OR DID YOU KNOW? - No way to tell u this.
17. DID YOU HAVE ANY COMPLICATIONS DURING YOUR PREGNANCY? - Not really. I bleed a little during my 10th weeks of pregnancy. The doc gave me medicine to prevent my ovary to compress n i had to stay on my bed for the whole week.
18. WHERE DID YOU GIVE BIRTH? - Aoi Maternity Clinic
19. HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR? - I was not in pain even though I was 6cm open! So the doc induce me to help me go through the delivery. After that shot, gosh the contraction was unbearable for 2 hours. But once the doc gave green light to push. It only took me 25 min to deliver my baby. The doc n nurse said I was quite good at pushing. I am like daaa the contraction is so unbearable I just want the baby out! :D
20. WHO DROVE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL? - Hubby. The hospital is just 2 min driving.
21. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH? - Hubby, Dr. Honda and head of nurse Mrs. Haraguchi
22. WAS IT NATURAL OR C-SECTION? - Natural
23. DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN? - Nope. In Japan, there is no such thing as no pain labor.
24. HOW MUCH DID YOUR CHILD WEIGH? - 3162 g
25. WHEN WAS YOUR CHILD ACTUALLY BORN ? - 9:25 pm June 15 2007 (Friday)
26. WHAT DID YOU NAME HIM/HER? - Harris Yuuki Bin Hezil
27. HOW OLD IS YOUR FIRST BORN TODAY? - 19 months
28. WOULD YOU DO IT AGAIN? - YES!! Hopefully next time it will be a girl.
